You may have noticed the phpBay Pro links around. I consider this the “second level” of how to make money online.

The first level would be a hosted webpage, like at epn store or squidoo; you build some pages on their site, drive some traffic, make some sales and in return they give you money.

The second level would be something like an ebay store; using wordpress and phpBay Pro, you’d put together a site. Let’s take a look at one example.

For example, you might decide to sell yarn from ebay. An example of an EPN Store would be knitting yarn. This is not a very precise niche, but some of the sub pages at yarnballs might be better; noro, cotton and angora are all “types” of knitting yarn. Anyway, with the epn store, you just put together a page and add the link on the page. You’ll know how much you’re making because of the dashboard, but you’ll be sharing a little of the money with the site owner. And you’ve got to admit “yarnballs.epnstore.com” doesn’t have the ring of authenticity that “yarnballs.com” would.

So buy your domain. Get some hosting and install wordpress. Buy the phpbay plugin and follow the instructions to add it. Write some content and drive the traffic. It’s not too far a step above that one of the hosted pages, really, it just has more possibilities to make more you more money.
